How The Contest Works

Readers vote for their favorite animals. Twelve winners will be selected to be published in the 12-month calendar based on the top votes. The pet with the most votes will also be featured on the cover.

The winning animals will be photographed by John Wollwerth of Wollwerth Imagery, wollwerthimagery.com, and showcased in this beautiful, color glossy calendar.

Voting For Your Favorite Pets

The voting process runs October 1-19,2012 at 5 p.m. Readers may cast a vote for 25 cents per vote, a minimum of $5. There will be no limit as to how many votes a reader may cast. The calendars will be available late November 2012 at local animal shelters.

Donation

The Island Packet and The Beaufort Gazette will donate pet calendars to the Hilton Head Humane Association, Palmetto Animal League, The Humane Association of the Lowcountry, Jasper Animal Rescue and Maranatha Farm to be used as a fundraiser. All calendar sales benefit the individual organizations that sell the calendar.
