Just like anyone else, I was taken aback when I received the email about Barack Obama, but I decided to do some research to see if there was anything at all to the accusations. The only thing I found that was not factual was Obama swearing in on a Koran (That was not true. That was Keith Ellison), and that he attended a wahabbi school. This cannot be proven.
I have done a tremendous amount of research on this man, and one of the most amazing things I found was his remarks in his books, "Dreams Of My Father", and "The Audacity of Hope" which I checked out from the library.
His admiration for Islam and the disdain for the white race was disturbing. It is all there and it can't be taken out of context. Yet, nobody has/will call him on it.
This stranger came out of nowhere with his flowery speeches that his handlers have given him, promising America great things- without specifying how -and droves hang on every word, believe every word and follow without question. If anyone dares to question, they are shouted down with 'Racist'! Bigot'!
This is very very frightening.
It's time to get the message out to a naive public who are jumping on the "black JFK", "camelot","change", "take back America" bandwagon, without questioning who this man is, questioning his past, his present associates and backers and his agenda.
The remarks from his books are very, very disturbing. Again, the remarks are there- and they are NOT taken out of context.
Example:
Quote from Barack Obama's book, Dreams Of My Father:
"The person who made me proudest of all, though, was [half brother] Roy .. He converted to Islam."
From 'Dreams of my Father', "In Indonesia, I had spent two years at a Muslim school"
"I studied the Koran.."
From 'Audacity of Hope: "Lolo (Obama's step father) followed a brand of Islam ...."I looked to Lolo for guidance".
From 'The Audacity Of Hope, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
From The Audacity Of Hope, "We are no longer just a Christian nation," "We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers."
From Dreams of My Father, " I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST MY MOTHER'S RACE".
From 'Dreams of my Father', "The emotion between the races could never be pure..... the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."
From 'Dreams of My Father',
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites"
From Dreams Of My Father, "never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself..".
From Dreams Of My Father:
"That hate hadn't gone away," he wrote, blaming "white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives."
From Dreams Of My Father;
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on,to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names"
From Dreams Of My Father, "I had grown accustomed, everywhere, to suspicions between the races."
.
.
.
Just how clear does Obama have to make his disdain for the white race and his admiration for Islam?? Imagine if Hillary or Romney had said:
.
.
" I FOUND A SOLACE IN NURSING A PERVASIVE SENSE OF GRIEVANCE AND ANIMOSITY AGAINST THE BLACK RACE".
"The emotion between the races could never be pure..... the BLACK race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."
"never emulate BLACK men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the WHITE MAN,- SON OF AMERICA,-that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself..".
IF A WHITE CANDIDATE HAD THOSE REMARKS OUT IN PRINT, THEY WOULD BE CRUCIFIED.

I went to YouTube to look up his speeches to La Raza (Mexican militant support group for illegal aliens) and heard for myself his pandering of the illegals. Go to YouTube and listen to his speeches. Type in Barack Obama, La Raza, illegal aliens and hear him yourself)
Statistics on illegal aliens:
The Heritage Foundation ^ | 10/25/06 | Robert Rector
The National Academy of Sciences has estimated that each immigrant without a high school degree will cost U.S. taxpayers, on average, $89,000 over the course of his or her lifetime.[3] This is a net cost above the value of any taxes the immi*grant will pay and does not include the cost of educating the immigrant’s children, which U.S. taxpayers would also heavily subsidize. In this way, the roughly six million legal immigrants without a high school diploma will impose a net cost of around a half-trillion dollars on U.S. taxpayers over their lifetimes
Crime Statisitcs
95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually.
53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border.
71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or "transport coyotes".
47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.
63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens.
66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66%, 98% are illegal.
Birth Statistics
380,000 plus "anchor babies" were born in the U.S. in 2005 to illegal alien parents, making 380,000 babies automatically U.S.citizens.
97.2% of all costs incurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayers.
66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

Considering the horrific illegal alien problem in this country- that costs us BILLIONS and brings in more violent crime, for Obama to be pandering to the illegal aliens is SHAMEFUL!
.

Obama's speech to La Raza:
(La Raza (The Race), Largest Hispanic organization in the U.S.
Lobbies for racial preferences, bilingual education, stricter hate crimes laws, mass immigration, and amnesty for illegal aliens )
Obama said the recent Senate immigration debate "was both ugly and racist in a way we haven't see since the struggle for civil rights."
Obama told La Raza that the mass protests lately of for immigration rights of Mexicans is equal in greatness to the civil rights protest of the past!
Omama supports La Raza's, the "DREAM Act," which would mandate states to offer in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens -- thus providing them with benefits not available to U.S. citizens from other states, as well as amnesty and other atrocities. Obama urged Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign the Dream Act, a bill that would make illegal immigrant students who graduate from high school eligible for college aid. (Schwarzenegger vetoed a similar measure last year.)

Then there is his stance on partial birth abortion. Any Christian in good conscience could not vote for Obama! This issue alone should cancel him out. Shameful!
http://www.cnsnews.com/ViewCommentary.asp?Page=/Commentary/archive/200801/COM20080109b.html
He is so pro-abortion that he refused as an Illinois state senator to support legislation to protect babies who survived late-term abortions. In a cold blooded speech, he refused to concede that these babies were "persons'- even though they were fully outside their mother's wombs with their hearts beating and their lungs heaving. On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator to speak against the baby-protecting bills. He voted "present" on each, effectively the same as a "no."
.
.In the event anyone is not familiar with partial birth abortion; the baby is positioned into the breech position, he is pulled out by his legs half way and a hole in punched into his skull. His brains are sucked out by an instrument while his heart beats and his lungs heave. Obama has voted numerous times against a bill to ban this heinous practice.

Here we have a man who was BORN INTO ISLAM, expresses his admiration for Islam and vows to stand with the Muslims in his books, a man whose biggest backers are American Muslim activists! Investigate just who this man is, who his backers are.
Are you aware that one of his biggest backers, Tony Rekzo is being brought to trial Feb 25 on federal corruption charges- and that Obama is
linked?
http://www.suntimes.com/news/politics/obama/749138,obama20web.article
Are you aware Raila Odinga, a Muslim radical involved in the disputed Kenya election is Obama's cousin and that he has kept in close contact with him and supported him? Are you aware that in August 2006, Mr. Obama visited Kenya and spoke in support of Mr. Odinga's candidacy at rallies in Nairobi?
Mr. Odinga has an electoral pact with the National Muslim Leaders' Forum — a hardline Islamist organization that represents Kenya's Muslim minority. According to this document, dated August 29, 2007, Mr. Odinga promised the Muslim leaders that, if elected, he would establish Sharia courts, not only in the northern and coastal regions where Kenyan Muslims are concentrated, but throughout the country.
He also promised to impose Muslim dress codes on women, ban alcohol and pork, indoctrinate children, ban Christian preaching.
Odinga is reported to be behind such atrocities as the burning of a Christian church with 50 people inside.
Does this not raise some red flags? Islamic leaders have warned us point blank that they will infiltrate America, infiltrate the government- and destroy us using our own laws and our democracy to destroy us! Come on, people. Wake up, for God's sake!!
.
Obama's voting record. Sen. Barack Obama has missed the most votes of any Democratic presidential hopeful in the Senate over the last two months, including a vote on an Iran resolution he has blasted Sen. Hillary Clinton for supporting.
The Illinois Democrat has missed nearly 80 percent of all votes since September.
Obama routinely avoids voting on any issue that is not helpful to Muslim goals.
For example, Obama missed a vote on a resolution that declared the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, an elite part of the Iranian military, a terrorist organization.
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/c...o000167/votes/
.
Obama is currently displayed as banner boy on the Project Islamic Hope site. Some of the founders of this organization have been indicted for terrorist support.
http://islamichope.org/
That's just a few of the things I've learned about this man! Very very frightening!!
I have been attacked for "swift-boarding", racism, bigotry and lying. This is untrue. I am just an American teacher who loves American and our American way of life.
I hold nothing against a man for the color of his skin. I have stood up for the black race and defended whenever I saw an injustice. I have worked for civil rights for blacks and all minorities.
This has nothing to do with racism, but everything to do with a man born into Islam and who defends it still. A man whose biggest backers are American Muslim activists.
When the facts are out there for investigation, there are no "lies" here.
All I ask is for the public to investigate for themselves. Don't take my word for it. But I WILL NOT stand by while this mans seeks to ride himself all the way into the White House on the insane PC and White Guilt in this country!!

These quotes are both fabricated and grossly out of context.
Alleged quote:
"The person who made me proudest of all, though, was [half brother] Roy...He converted to Islam."
Real quote and/or context of quote:
"The person who made me proudest of all, though, was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol. He still works at his accounting firm, but talks about moving back to Kenya once he has enough money. In fact, when we saw each other...he was building a hut for miself and his mother...in accordance with Luo tradition."
>>>An honest conversation about race begins with just that: HONESTY. The paraphrased quote implies Obama is happy for his half-brother because he converted to Islam, which is of course a lie. When Obama first meets his half-brother, Roy is an obese, hard-drinking man whose life is in a downward spiral. Obama is proud of his brother for turning his life around, as we all would be.
----
Alleged quote:
"In Indonesia, I had spent two years at a Muslim school...I studied the Koran..."
Real quote and/or context of quote:
"In Indonesia, I had spent to years at a Muslim school, two years at a Catholic school. In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell my mother that I made faces during Koranic studies. My mother wasn't overly concerned. 'Be respectful,' she'd said. In the Catholic school, when it came time to pray, I would pretend to close my eyes, then peek around the room. Nothing happened. No angels descended. Just a parched old nun and thirty brown children, muttering words. Sometimes the nun would catch me, and her stern look would force my lids back shut."
>>>This paraphrased quote is not just misleading, it's deceiptful. You're ominously implying that Obama was endoctrinated into the Muslim faith as a little boy. But the full quote, taken in context, depicts nothing more than your average precocious kid bored silly in religion class.
----
Alleged quote:
"Lolo (Obama's step father) followed a brand of Islam ...."I looked to Lolo for guidance".
"Real quote and/or context of quote:
"Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths...[two paragraphs later]The world was violent, I was learning, unpredictable and often cruel. My grandparents knew nothing about such a world, I decided; there was no point in disturbing them with questions they couldn't answer. Sometimes, when my mother came home from work, I would tell her the things I had seen or heard, snd she would stroke my forehead, listening intently, trying her best to explain what she could, and I always appreciated the attention--her voice, the touch of her hand, defined all that was secure. But her knowledge of [Indonesian] floods and exorcisms and cockfights left much to be desired. Everything was as new to her as it was to me, and I would leave such conversations feeling that my questions had only given her uneceesary cause for concern. So it was to Lolo I turned for guidance and instruction."
>>>It's becoming painfully obvious you haven't read a single word of Obama's books. The paraphrased quote would have you believe that Obama looks to this stern Muslim as his mentor, when in the full, contextual quote, NOTHING like that is said or inferred. Obama mentions offhand that his stepfather is Muslim--even better, that he adheres to an ecumenical brand of Islam. What follows after that is a full page of text and two expository paragraphs on Indonesian life, and then Obama says he turns to his stepfather for guidance about Indonesian customs and history because his grandparents and mother are relatively clueless.
----
Alleged quote:
"I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
Real quote and/or context of quote:
"In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
>>>This is truly a thing of beauty here. Obama creates this carefully nuanced portrait of Arab and Pakistani Americans unlawfully imprisoned in post-9/11 America, and he vows to defend their freedoms as Americans. And what does the paraphrased "quote" imply? That come the next Holy War, Obama is joining the Jihadists.
----
Alleged quote:
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."
Real quote and/or context of quote:
"[We] know too much, we have all seen too much, to take my parents' brief union--a black man and white woman, an African and an American--at face value. As a result, some people have a hard time taking me at face value. When people who don't know me well, black or white, discover my background (and it usually is a discovery, for I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites), I see the split-second adjustments they have to make, the searching of my eyes for some tell-tale sign. They no longer know who I am. Privately, they guess at my troubled heart, I suppose--the mixed blood, the divided soul, the ghostly image of the tragic mulatto trapped between two worlds. And if I were to explain that no, the tragedy is not mine, or at least not mine alone, it is yours, daughter of Plymouth Rock and Ellis Island, it is yours, childredn of Africa, it's on the nightly news for all to see, and that if we could aknowledge at least that much then the tragic cycle begins to break down...well, I suspect that I sound incurably naive, wedded to lost hopes....Or worse, I sound like I'm trying to hide from myself."
>>>Wow, stunning editorial journalism here. A sprawling paragraph about a young man's inner conflict with his multi-racial heritage, and the paraphrased quote dispenses with the paranthetical reference, and devoid of context, morphs into the rough equivalent of, "KILL, WHITEY!"
----
Alleged quote:
"never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself..."
Real quote and/or context of quote:
"Yes, I'd seen weaknesses in other men--[my grandfather] and his disappointments, [my stepfather] and his compromise. But these men had become object lessons for me, men I might love but never emulate, white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father's image, the black man, the son of Africa, that I'd packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela. And if later I saw that the black men I knew...fell short of such lofty standards; if I had learned to respect these men for the struggles they went through, recognizing them as my own--my father's voice had nevertheless remained untainted, inspiring, rebuking, granting or withholding approal. You don not work hard enough, Barry. You must help in your people's struggle. Wake up, black man!
"Now, as I sat in the glow of a single light bulb, rocking slightly on a hard-backed chair, that image had suddenly vanished. Replaced by...what? A bitter drunk? An abusive husband? A defeated, lonely bureaucrat? To think that all my life I had been wrestling with nothing more than a ghost! For a moment I felt giddy...The king is overthrown, I thought. The emerald curtain is pulled aside. The rabble of my head is free to run riot; I can do what I damn well please. For what man, if not my own father, has the power to tell me otherwise? What I do, it seems, I won't do much worse than he did."
>>>I barely know where to begin with this one. Here we have Obama wrestling with the legacy of his dead father, and with how much he had WRONGLY invested himself in the myth of his father and by extension the myth of his racial heritage. And what does the altered quote suggest? BLACK POWER! BLACK POWER!
----
I spent a full hour cross-referencing your quotes and found zero quotes taken in context and at least five quotes outright altered to convey meanings that were never intended. I'm reasonably certain NONE of the quotes you site are accurate.
Plus, curiously enough, you neglected to include any of these quotes:
"White folks. The term itself was uncomfortable in my mouth at first; I felt like a non-native speaker tripping over a difficult phrase. Sometimes I would find myself talking to [my friend] Ray about white folks this or white folks that, and I would suddenly remember my mother's smile, and the words that I spoke would seem awkward and false."
"We hold these truths to be self-evident. In those words, I hear the spirit of Douglas and Delany, as well as Jefferson and Lincoln; the struggles of Martin and Malcolm and unheralded marchers to bring these words to life. I hear the voices of Japanese families interned behind barbed wire; young Russian Jews cutting patterns in Lower East side sweatshops; dust-bowl farmers loading up their trucks with the remains of shattered lives....I hear all of these voices clamoring for recognition, all of them asking the very same questions that have come to shape my life, the same questions that I sometimes, late at night, find myself asking [my father]. What is our community, and how might that community be reconciled with oru freedom? How far do our obligations reach? How do we transform mere power into justice, mere sentiment into love? The answers I find in law books don't always satisfy me--for every Brown v. Board of Education I find a score of cases where conscience is sacrificed to expedience or greed...And yet, in the conversation itself, in the joining of voices, I find myself modestly encouraged, believing that so long as the questions are still being asked, what binds us together might somehow, ultimately, prevail....And at some point [we] decide that a principle is at stake, that despite everything that has happened, those words put to paper over two hundred years ago must mean something after all. Black and white, they make their claim on this community we call America. They choose our better history."

THANK YOU MCSWEENY!!!!
McSweeny,
I am writing you from West Columbia, where this person "Cyberella" who goes by the sock puppet alias of "Bunnytoes" has been posting the exact same smear on the State Newspaper discussion board for months. Your reply to this post is very well written (albeit with a few misspellings) , I would like to ask your permission to copy it and post it on he State Newspaper and Beaufort Gazette sites. In fact I had responded much in kind to some quotes, but had not been able to find the "I will stand with the muslims (sic)" quote that has been repeatedly pasted.
As you said, the interesting thing is to look first of all at the actual quote, which was very specifically made with reference to the plight of Muslim-Americans after 9-11, not all Muslims in general. Secondly, the quote was not only incorrectly cited, it was creatively changed to make it appear as though Obama was supportive of all Muslims.
Here is the actual quote from the book is from page 261 of "the Audacity of Hope" and is as follows:
"Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific reassurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."
Wow! Ther's a noticeably vast chasm between what the book actually says and what is implied by "Bunnytoes" aka "Cyberella". This person is obviously a patent liar, whose postings are so pervasive on the internet that one wonders just whose payroll they are on. A quick web search will show that this individual is associated with JTF.org, which is an extremist organization that espouses support for the late terrorist Meir Kahane and his political party KACH, which has been permanently banned by the Knesset in Israel. I would no more ask for an opinion about Jews from a neo-Nazi or a black person from a Klansman than I would an Arab or Muslim by a KACH terrorist sympathizer.
Finally, before "Cyberella" accuses me of being an Obama "sock puppet", I would like to add that I am a resident of West Columbia, and a regular posting on the State Newspaper discussion board for some 5 years. In all honesty, I doubt that Cyberella is a resident of this state at all. The only reason I am posting this now is because I have grown very tired of seeing this bogus invective posted on every newspaper site throughout the Carolinas. At least Rock Hill had the guts to ban such lies.
